Addition/Remodel and New Construction

This couple had lived for many years in their
1930's home. They were now in a happy phase
where their children, grandchildren and parents
regularly visited, and they wanted to remodel
their house to celebrate these family bonds. The
new work needed to be high quality and reflect
their family traditions in a timeless manner.

The resulting project included an expanded
kitchen, relocated to the center of a new living
area. A deck and brick patio connecting the
kitchen to the pool, where a new poolhouse with
bath, laundry and screened porch provide the
whole family with an extra living quarters and
gathering place.

Along the way, a new powder room, study, 3-car
garage, workroom and master suite with a
screened porch were added to finish the project.
